They got exactly what they demanded and now are pissed because they didn't get the outcome that they had expected. They thought Obama and his corrupt DOJ would make everything right for them.

To be fair, the 5th Circuit case law makes it really hard to meet the standard needed. Even with some of the more lenient case law (9th Circuit) though, the officers wouldn't rise up to it since he was armed and reaching for the gun.
