Ask Anheuser Busch what they learned from Bud Light debacle.

I don't see how this gains them a single customer. The people who liked the previous logo and interior design will be turned off.
Everybody else is not going to say: I can finally go to Cracker Barrel now!

cracker barrel, according to CBS, has lost $200m in equity since the "new logo" was released

I don't give two shits about their sign as long as the food taste good.

Cracker Barrel has been trending towards BK for several years now. You think everything was just a-ok and the c-suite decided to attempt to reinvigorate their brand for no reason?
I can agree with this, but their decision to go pro-trannie is about as tone deaf as a decision can be. One doesn't even need to care about what's happening in DC, they can just look at how a similar decision almost overnight brought down the beer which had been the most popular in the country for just over 20 years in a row.
Their ad campaigns, at least here, have been pretty much non-existent for as far back as I can remember. What they needed was a campaign reinforcing something along the lines of "traditional family values, traditional family cooking" with some narration by the guy who does the Country Time Lemonade ads (or someone with a similar sounding voice) and some attractive people (because everyone likes eye-candy) dressed casually, enjoying the frick out of their meal (and maybe having a couple of bags of items they purchased in the store).
There. Easy & peasy. If it doesn't bring an increase in sales, at least they aren't shooting themselves in the foot.

But Steak and Shakes logo is way different now too. Their old one was awesome.
The one that re-opened here isn't anywhere near as good as it was pre-COVID either.
Like the beef tallow fries are all fine and well, it just isn't the same quality as before.

I sometimes wonder if our leftist brothers had a normal suburban childhood or if they grew up in some weird household that eats takeout alone on holidays. Y'all really hate nostalgia and family for some reason.
