Are you arguing that him speeding and passing in a no passing zone had 0 impact on the accident?
yes, based on the statement from the driver of the gold truck and the evidence from the car data. Lacy passing 100yds in front had no impact on the accident.

You're entitled to your opinion.

I don’t know whether to be surprised or not surprised he was driving at a high rate of speed in a no passing zone at 12 noon on a busy highway.
I guess Chargers have a stereo type for a reason.

I’m sort of torn on this issue
Not sure who’s fault it is based on the info that was given to the public… but one thing I’m sure of is this:
The people that initially blamed lacy will keep that same opinion
The people that don’t like cops will blame the cops
Those two groups of people will never change their view even if other information is presented. You’ll always get the ‘yea but what about __________’ comments from both sides
It sucks. This whole situation sucks. Two lives lost over basically nothing.. a situation that could have been, and should have been avoided.
Life’s precious man. We argue about it here because it doesn’t change our lives in any way, but there are two families now who are ripped up and dealing with the consequences

So the bitch panicked and caused a wreck and it's Lacy's fault for driving aggressively?

If she's a bitch is Lacy a ninja?
But yes, his driving absolutely led to this collision.

If he’s going 60MPH and it really is a 100 yard difference that’s about 3 seconds to make a decision (and honestly even shorter because it’s 3 seconds before they collide and she still has to make the decision then act on it then the car has to follow those commands she gives it which are not instantaneous). And that’s a decision that pops up once the car in front of her moves.
Idk. Pretty quick.

Take everything? Didn't he get a college degree? Not saying this was handled well by anyone and I think if it went to trial, he would have been okay. Hell, with his talent, He could have signed as an UFA and proved himself to be worth some big money.
The court of public opinion is ruthless.

And whoever mentioned it earlier, lacy did flee the scene unlike everyone else. That also does yourself zero favors
It isn’t fleeing the scene when you’re not involved, it’s called going about your day.

The gold truck was traveling at 30mph and slowing. The car involved in the accident was traveling at a constant 50mph until 0.5 seconds before the accident.

And the LSP is standing behind this because other witnesses also said what the Trooper was pressuring the man to say.
Where on the video was the trooper pressuring the witness?
Sound like he was asking what happened.

Yea I don't really get that either. Seems like he was trying to confirm all the accounts about the green Charger from the various drivers to me, not falsifying reports

His car has no damage, the accident occurred in front of him. Even in this fairy tale inbred state trooper fantasy that he caused this accident, he probably had no idea.

wait till you see it. It continently wasn't in the video that the state police released. See how that works?

What's it called when you fire a weapon, you shouldn't even have while out on bond, then going on a police chase
