he would have likely killed the Vietnam Veteran
I don't mean this to be disrespectful at all but after seeing the accident, neither cabins were breached unless I missed something. How did the veteran die? Seeing it , you would not think someone would die as a result of this specific accident. Was the seatbelt on ? Did he go into cardiac arrest? What was his injuries to his body as a result of the collision?

I do not extent of injuries to Mr. Hall but if accident is not cause of death then no homicide charges should have been filed again JMHO

Aggressive, reckless driving is arguably on par with driving while intoxicated when it comes to putting lives at risk.

The former is far more common than the latter, and probably responsible for more minor accidents.

with all due respect, this isnt what im asking. I want to know exactly how he passed. As a result of the accident, what were Mr. Hall's injuries to cause his death? RIP Mr. Hall.

I with all respect agree because I am same age as Mr Hall. I believe that a wreck that serious even though as you said about compartment damage could cause my demise. I am a veteran also and if accident happened that caused me to perish I would want my family to seek out why. Now as I said if wreck was not cause of death no one should be charged with homicide. But someone is responsible for event. Again that is only my opinion that has no more weight than anyone.

Here is a real hypothetical for the keyboard attorneys:

What if a child was killed in a minor crash and the mother of the child did not properly restrain the child, would the mother be negligent or the other driver that caused the accident?

If you apply state police’s logic in the Lacy case, the driver of the car that caused the accident would be negligent.

If you apply Ory’s interpretation, the mother should be negligent.
