After watching the video, he absolutely caused that accident. Driving like an a-hole has consequences.

Mark Sanchez as a verb well done lad.

Very sad situation through and through. I hope both families find closure and healing in time.

Yes you are. You really gonna sit here with a straight face and say this collision happens if Lacy is anywhere else doing anything other than exactly what he was doing there?

He’s not the only one. Read the comments on the story about the NAACP wanting the LSP commander to resign. A good bit of them want him locked up lol.

It’s of course one segment of the population. It’s sad how ignorant and uneducated they are. None of the culcha think he did anything wrong. Speeding pass multiple cars in a no passing zone and then ducking back in his lane a second before the crash is completely innocent to them…..

Absolutely lacy shouldn’t have passed in a no passing zone.

Here is a question. If Lacy was potentially going to face criminal charges for this incident why wasn’t the driver of the white car also facing the same thing?

ETA: my problem with this entire thing is this seems to be a case of tunnel vision from the officers. The officer telling the driver of the gold truck what to put in his statement is disgusting.

No it doesn’t. She wouldn’t have to duck off out if her lane if the driver in front doesn’t hit his breaks and turn off.

Shes somewhat culpable but not the cause of the crash.

I have a feeling you haven’t heard about the data from the cars.

Didn't I read he passed four cars?

Was that one or two at a time or was it a string of four cars at once?

A little more than simply passing in a no passing zone.

Let’s say I walk across a cross walk when it’s red and a car tries to go around me to avoid hitting me but hits a car in the lane next to them causing them to spin out and hit a pole and a person in that vehicle dies.

Should I get the negligent homicide charge since I crossed the street illegally, or should the driver of the car that left their lane to avoid hitting me but hit another car in the process get the negligent homicide charge?

What’s your take ?

Yes you are. When they want the LSP commander to step down, for murder according to some comments lol. Hard to argue that.

I don't know the legal answer to this, but I think it's an interesting analogy.

I’m not sure.

Here is the problem with your scenario. The white car didn’t swerve to avoid the Lacy’s vehicle.

No he reviewed all the data. He knows how fast Kyren was driving.
