How much are you getting in an unnecessary monthly child tax credit?

Nothing. Zip. Zilch. Nada. I get no child tax credits, I got no covid cash, I don't get diddly-squat. You?

Going to take 5-8 weeks for the staffing levels to come back up. But it’s a step in the right direction.

It is disgusting the amount of Americans who have no issue with taking welfare from the government. The ones who purposely will not get married so their baby mamas can get free shite. We are fricked as a country and it is because of our citizens.

We're fricked because we ALLOW this shite.

Maybe.
Maybe they could close up and go out of business.
Or maybe they can raise their costs to the point that the new raise no longer supports your "living wage" number and here we are with an inflationary tax on poor people.

A majority of people that are begging for this are living better than any “poor” people in history…

The answer can be found in democratic party policies and platform planks.

Uh, it’s pretty well known that this was not the reason those places had trouble finding staff.

Isn’t this the same thing as all the pig money in these government stimulus packages to companies with lobbyists.

Talked to a waiter at Acme Oyster House, with almost every table filled & waiters all over the place. He said the reason why they have not been short staffed is the owners worked hard to keep them all on full pay & benefits while everyone else was struggling. Not every place could do that but it made a difference at Acme.

So what is the reason? I deal with a number of restaurant franchises and they've all said the same thing. No one wants to work when they get free money sitting at home.

Well, if you're not getting off your arse or leaving your house any farther than to check the mailbox for the checks to get that money, that's living large in my book.

Not sure this is a good idea with current transmission and vaccination rates.

If you’re not vaxxed you’re directly contributing to holding back the economy.
