Unless you’re driving about 1100 mph (at the equator) or about 900 mph at 30 degrees North latitude, the sunset will catch up to you.

Sunset in Dallas is like 5:30 now. Averaging 60 MPH for 5 hours and 30 minutes puts you 330 miles west. That puts me in Odessa where sunset was 5:50.

So I'd get about 20 miles west of Odessa. Pretty silly hypothetical. You aren't going to somehow lengthen your day unless you fly.
