Cars are already lining up at the roadblock to get back in & start work towards whatever is next

Remarkable engineering achievements

So what is the main reason for landing in the Indian Ocean? Is that just the only possibiliy due to angle/orbit ?

Plasma build-up starting... reentry has begun

Indian Ocean is a safe place to put it. They are still making sure the ship can survive reentry over an open area before trying to bring it back into Starbase

Hopefully she doesn’t take as much damage this time

I think it's just b/c the Starship hasn't yet proven its ability to safely return without some breaking apart... so it's not allowed over land inside Earth's atmosphere yet

Reentry seems so calm relative to the first time.

It's crazy how smooth this is

Engine chill start up... prepping for landing burn

Definitely looking 100x better this time…and also we can still see since their isn’t junk/debris all over the cameras

The sparking is the heat shield successfully doing its job

Spacex is the poster child of iterative design. They take some much crap from haters during their first few tests and then a few tests later people don’t have anything else to chirp about.
Exact same thing happened with falcon 9 landing.

Approaching reentry maximum pressure

I also love that the only reason we can see this is because of starlink

And the fact that Starship is a massive beast
