Imaging going on strike from a fast food joint

If you don't like the conditions of your employment there just quit and find a different job. You could find a comparable paying job in less than a week

Heard last night that some of them make up to $30 per hour. Don't know if I believe that but if it's true these morons need to suck it up and follow the rules set by the employer. Also, heard that it's the union workers on strike and that only about 5% of Starbucks employees are union. I say let the radical bitches go!

Starbucks employees are the most self-important people on the planet.

I'm not going to argue it. I do enjoy the occasional mocha velvet ice in the summer.

They can take their asses to another coffee shop. Why is the concept of a very lax dress code like jeans and a t-shirt an issue?

I had to tell an employee at one of pediatric behavioral therapy clinics that wearing a shirt depicting the Houston Texans mascot holding a cup of lean maybe wasn't appropriate for this setting.... hear 5 minutes later he was talking shite about that conversation... guess my bar is a touch too high

I don't think this is accurate.

enforcing a dress code for employees
I'm pretty sure this is.

I believe this has always been the dress code for Starbucks. Stores have just been very laxed in enforcing it for several years. And if I'm right, the Union has no dog in the fight.

Were these the jobs envisioned when they were transitioning us to a "service-based" economy?
