You've been outed as the big contrarian on just about every board you regularly post on. This time it bit you in the arse because you stepped on your own dick.

I'm the one that's bad at this though.

That's not what I said at all. I said her not accepting their way of life could POTENTIALLY cause resentment and locker room distractions. I didn't say the players had a problem with her beliefs. The players don't make roster decisions, the coaches and managers do. So it's likely the coaches and managers left her off to avoid that distraction and better team chemistry.

So, why was she left off again, in your opinion? Was it because her beliefs triggered her teammates and made them resentful and unaccepting of her?

Hint: This is being persecuted for one's beliefs.

The fact that none of the players in question have said anything about this issue should indicate what a non-story this is.

Right.

Not the point.

Her opinion is no more or less important than any other players, and her beliefs should have no bearing on her standing with the program.

This is super cringe dude, but sure, mark it down. "today I (in my own head) super totally owned someone online"

If a team has a bunch of lesbians and you have someone who hates gay people, how is that hater the persecuted one?

You're also assuming she was kept off SOLELY because she's against gay people and not largely because she was a fringe talent.

We've now officially jumped the shark in society. Straight white people have been fed up with people claiming false persecution that they feel they need to beat them at their own game.

She was basically considered a pretty sure bet to be on the team until “the team” made a trip last year to Europe to play “friendlies” wearing only their gay pride jerseys. She didn’t go because she made a decision she wasn’t going to wear it.

I love how it’s gone from Tolerance and just wanting to not have it illegal to “wear the fricking rainbow or you will be punished!”

Yes, the one who hates gays is the persecuted one.

It was her own decision, snowflake.

I stated that opinion in the post you've now cited a few times. I think the coaches made the decision to limit the chances of any potential resentment that could damage team chemistry.

I've even said a couple of other times that I think she was good enough to make the roster.

WHO said she 'hated' gay people ? You seem to extrapolate things to fit your own agenda !

Daily occurrence for you.

Does it say she "hates" gay people? All it says is she didn't want to wear a gay pride uniform due to her religious beliefs.

That's quite the leap you made there.

You're also assuming she was kept off SOLELY because she's against gay people and not largely because she was a fringe talent.

Never said it was the sole reason. Once again, quite the leap.

Oh look, another massive leap into a contrarian stance.

Shocker there.

I have no problem with sodomy, oral sex, etcetera, between any two adults.

The notion that such acts are equal alternatives to the procreative family is ridiculous.

So is the idea that the law would in any way recognize two adults' decision to sodomize each other exclusively on some semi-permanent basis.

That's really all there is to it. We don't need special laws for best friends or roommates. "Gay pride" = the celebration of sodomy.

Again, I have no problem with sodomy in its proper context... which is not a national team jersey.

Not wanting to be forced to wear a fricking rainbow means you hate gays?

I'm sure it was one. But if she was a talent like Alex Morgan, it would've been ignored or smoothed over.

This is the same for Kapernick. If he was a drew brees level talent, he'd be playing in the NFL.

Problem is that he was a fringe starter/good backup and the best backups in this league are never heard from.

No one wants their team to be a media circus unless the player creating the circus is a special talent.

Idk if she was black balled or if she wasn't good enough but I do know she wasn't good enough to be a possible distraction.

Whether you agree with her or not, she chose to speak her mind and actions have consequences.
