I got the call as well. This will definitely be recalled by daylight. Idiotic call to say the least.

They've taken away Mardi Gras holidays to make up for the scamdemic Coronavirus Hoax where they stopped school March 13, 2020 and resumed mod September 2020.

They lost a bunch of holidays because they decided to start after Labor Day because of COVID. They lost 2-3 days over Thanksgiving, 2-3 days over Christmas, all 3 days for Mardi Gras, and 4-5 days over spring break. Not to mention like 4-6 days for hurricanes.

Yeah I don’t get it either. I guess they are going off of some info that we aren’t privy to. As for them changing their mind between now and tomorrow morning, I just can’t see it. My guess is that there will be classes tomorrow and that school will be let out after lunch. Those buses going up to Folsom / Sun may be driving in the sleet or frozen rain.

At least the crowd posting “I can’t believe school got cancelled for this!” should be happy.

Why didn’t they start back and keep going like everyone else in south LA (minus Latoya Schools)?

My understanding is that they didn’t have enough chromebooks to start the school year.
Suppliers were blamed. Who knows.

The parish president, Mike Cooper, just said to stay off of the roads tomorrow as the parish is under a “winter storm watch” from 6am on.

These kids need to be IN SCHOOL tomorrow.

They’d had way too many days off, and a little cold weather is no excuse.

Isn’t that the same thing? Two people who are shitty and sketchy, but people worship and claim are both some kind of savior.

Unless a bus full of kids skids off the road.
