Cities on the Northshore have had zero city planning over the last 40 years. You have a bank next to a strip mall next to a tattoo shop, next to a fast food restaurant all in front of Walmart and next to the on ramp. It really is a joke.

There is a message here, maybe have a Plan B other than the potential of any gentrification of Washington Parish.

Probably bc Washington Parish is just a little too far for commuting to southshore and the northshore doesn’t have the jobs. Thank goodness. Maybe Washington Parish will stay mostly untouched, but I hear from friends who are there they are doing some building.
