The post is below, sounds like more than “ infrastructure sites” to me.

How’s it looking on 21 south of 12? That area had tons of down trees and lines

Anyone know if they’ve been working north of I 12, off of 1077 , past Hannan high school . From what I understand a lot of power lines down

Crews are staged in the Hannan parking lot and working in that area. They had trucks clearing trees north of 12 on 1077 as well.

It was a mess on Monday, haven’t been that way since. Cleo did post a picture of about 10 crews working on what looked like south 21 or 22 in Madisonville.

Good to know. Seems like things are slowly coming back on.

Not St Tammany but anyone see any trucks around Airport Rd in Hammond, north side of I-12 ?
In-laws live there and us on the South shore so whoever gets power first is where we going back to.

I’m told that The Woodlands in Mandeville just came back online an hour or so ago.

that’s where I live, I was there all day.
the line trucks are staged at the mall, easily 300 and maybe more
they are waiting for trees to be cleared that are blocking streets and for the utility assessment to lay a plan.
so the answer is no, there are no utility repairs ongoing at the moment. On airport rd in particular, the main transmission lines are down from 12 to old Covington, all down old Covington, all down 190
it’s hard to describe how big the job is going to be to restore power.
my suggestion to your parents is to leave. It’s uninhabitable until Baton Rouge is back up and running and can support a basic supply chain
My house is standing but I cannot possibly live there

Slidell in the last hour I’ve heard:
Parts of Eden isles

The Fairways
Lakeshore village
