Cleco’s shite map appears to provide nothing useful whatsoever. Even areas that are back up don’t really affirmatively show as being up, they just don’t have the icon/area thing, which doesn’t always appear or load properly anyway.
Or else I’m doing something wrong

No, it is completely useless. It has been completely useless for every outage we have had.

Any progress on the tree that you know of? My hats off to those guys/girls for the effort they’re giving.

Tree is removed from line, but trucks left and no power. Didn’t see them when they left so I didn’t get an update. Hope they come back.

There were downed trees/lines on that street the west side of the Pentecostal Church - between it and that strip mall.

Awesome that the tree is down! I’m sure they left to go make sure everything else is in order before firing up. Hopefully.

I really appreciate all your updates on this. I’ll buy you a beer or two sometime

Any time. Come stop and say hello. We are sitting in the driveway watching the kids play on tallow creek. Got cold beers here.

entergys is so much better. A simple street overlay. Green street = lights. Red street = no lights.

Purposefully unclear.

You think they don’t have (internally) a better map of their grid?

Appreciate the offer but I’m headed to my dad’s shortly to check on things. I’ll swing through there tomorrow with some cold ones. Especially if we are still without power haha

There were plenty of trucks on Menetre and 15th today. Here is to hoping that they are handling business.

Slidell baws I know Oak Harbor has power but what about across the interstate on the East side?? Anyone have a timeline for there?

Pretty much everything on the East side of I-10 below Old Spanish Trail has power with the exception of Lakeshore Estates. We’re waiting on a part that was ordered 2 days ago and was supposedly stockpiled across the state line.

Looks like it from a quick search .. I've been there once but didn't notice the name of the neighborhood. We were passing through and went to visit.

Are you near there? Hoping yours is back soon.

You are correct. It is close to worthless. No power lines down like in Katrina yet very little power except for the hospitals which obviously had to go first and isolated subdivisions.

Didn’t realize some neighborhoods out there have different companies. My grandparents in hunters glen have Cleco and got power at 0900- neighbors across the street.. 200 yards away.. have the other company (MST?) and still don’t have power

Near there, yes. But they are Cleco and I'm Entergy. Apparently some subdivisions on Entergy a couple miles away are back as well. I'm sandwiched by power but have none.

Regardless, the Rouses by me finally had a 6 pack of AlphaGator so I'm enjoying my 4th right now. The window unit in my MBR works at this drunken point. Man, this is pretty good.
