Isn’t it only a 5k? It shouldn’t take more than 20-25 minutes max.

My sauces say the club is meeting on Friday morning.

Teedy is catching hell for her trip to DC. To overshadow her incompetence and flatulence, she'll cancel the Irish Channel Parade. Then our savior, the Irish dame, Anne, will tell her to stand down and let the lads ride.

Only the Irish could suffer a famine on an island surrounded by fish.

I'd be interested to see what the bars are doing.

I’m hearing that Uncle Earls is moving everything to Sunday as well. They will take a major hit with this one I’m sure.

Anything over 18 minutes is embarrassing.

Sean Kingston owes the IRS a lot of money so I wouldn't be surprised if he stays, unless Earl's already cut the check.

The bars would probably prefer they move it a full week, this will sting a bit if most of the parade goers go home after because it’s a Sunday

Curious if Irish Channel in New Orleans has ever pushed a week. We got couple dozen walking members coming to town this weekend to march - can't imagine many can turn around and come back the following weekend.

Nope.

And it won't be pushed to Sunday. It's a logistical nightmare. A lot of clubs participate in both the Irish Channel and Metairie Road parades. Their trailers, djs, etc can only be in one spot.

It's going to be Saturday or cancelled.

If it's cancelled, I'll be looking for a place to drink.

That was my thought as well

Local news stations are certainly not helping, taking every opportunity to call for "extreme" and "severe" weather. Starting to suspect that NOPD has already made the call and they're just softening the blow
