Did he mention anything about other witnesses at the scene corroborating the officers side of the story?

Told me 11 witnesses.
ETA - And I tend to believe a number like that because it's a strange number. 5, 10 a dozen...possible but usually I hear those numbers and I take it with a grain of salt because it's a round number. 11 is an odd number to make up.

I posted last night that I think the DA knows there will be no indictment and is trying to distance himself.
He came out in a phone interview and basically called the Govt a coward that he wouldn't remove him from the case. Said that if he doesn't do it now and waits weeks, that the whole process will have to start over and further delay justice.
He wants to be pulled from it, so that he can say "I had nothing to do with it"

I should be getting together with a friend who's on McCulloch's staff tonight. I'll see what his thoughts are if he shows up tonight.

Not sure why there is concern about the reaction when the results come out (if your source is correct).... after all, all these protesters want is justice and clearly that is what they would get.
I suspect this vast vast majority will be satisfied with such definitive facts and continue to act to control the fringe element. I don't see how this narrative would not happen if all representations made about the protesting group are accurate, amirite?

(sounds like some street-walkers were bullshittin Lemon telling him their cousin got video)... I agree this would be a huge payday if someone actually had video.

I've said before also, I don't really believe any of the eyewitnesses. What 20 year old doesn't carry their phone literally in their hand at all times. If they witnessed a white cop squaring off with Brown in broad daylight they would definitely have takens pics/videos.

just watched the video of the knife wielding dude that tried to attack police in St. Louis.
They turned that motherfricker into a gotdamn pencil.

Can't argue with that. I wasn't agreeing with the thoughts on waiting. I was just trying to throw out reasons on why they'd drag things out.
Personally, I agree. Transparency is key. Hell, the City released the actual video footage of that fatal shooting the other day. There will still be some who shout crazy shite. It was planted, blah blah blah. But I would like to think it would be a small segment and quickly die out.

scared of the community or police?
I saw a guy last night claim that he talked to a witness who said she was scared the police would kill her if she came forward
I have watched some shows like first 48 and the cops have a hard time finding eyewitnesses b/c they are scared of the thugs.
Conclusion...black people sure is scared of a lot of things

Hands Up, Don't Shoot!!! As an African American, I find this whole event very disgusting. Al Sharpton is the worst representation we could have for Black America.

When you have the peaceful side of the leadership (French and the mother) say the only way this settles down is if the dude is arrested - I somehow do not have the same optimism that they will quietly accept the truth (if that turns out to be that).
Because again, this being about truth has never ever been the case - whether the peaceful or not.
If it was about truth, this would have faded last week when it basically became one of the biggest investigations in years. That is justice/accountability.
But that is not what they want unless it fits their narrative. That is undeniable and is now proved every day
