had a video of police telling cars to move on...of course this woman had an attitude and wouldn't move...got pulled out of car car and put on the ground. Nothing bad. No guarantee if she was pregnant either...if so wtf is she doing out with all that turmoil.

If a cop threatens to shoot me he won't have to tell me twice. I am going to suck up my pride and say yes officer...according to the witness he was warned twice. No that doesn't justify the shooting but what it does tell me is the victim must have been resisting.

Do you think bowing and scrapping would have really stopped this officer or does he sound like a guy who snapped and was beyond any attempts at deescalation

Even if she is pregnant, the only thing the cops did that may be wrong is laying her on her stomach.

IHighly doubt the cop woke up hoping he got to shoot someone that day. Its odd that normally when a crime happens in certain cultures it amazing how hard it is to get a witness. ..but when it's against the enemy people can't wait to talk.

I have a really hard time billiving the kids were as innocent as they are saying. We may never know the full truth but I tend to think that both sides have some guilt in the situation.
Until then thankfully they are gettinf justice by looting local businesses. Disgusting behavior by the community. No other culture promotes a "owed" something attitude. If a white kid is shot you dont see Oxford and dicks sports stores being looted in the town.

If so, not sure you get the unvarnished truth from them.

The same thing will be said of the cops? It will be up to you to determine who's story you believe

It's a video a page or 2 back. Again, she may have very well have had to have been subdued. It was certainly during either the protests or the riots. It didn't seem like anyone was being violent at that particular area but she may have very well have brandished a weapon.

The family and friends give the story that he was on his knees with his hands up, or that he was walking away with his hands up and was shot 6-10 times.

the eyewitness account doesn't match the family and friends

Are there sidewalks on that street? I am guessing it is against the law to walk on the street. It is unsafe for starters.

Yes. My street has sidewalks too. Does that mean I better tell them not to play/walk/ride on our street for fear of being shot by a cop? Walking down the street is such a non-issue.

This is very sad... By the time it is all said and done the truth will be so misconstrued. Like another poster said, the cops will try and cover their own arse while all the looters try and rationalize their actions. In the wake of it all, a kid has died and many people will be in jail.

In the end, nothing is resolved by all this.

Video last night. Cops telling people to clear area, they don't. Cops tell them again. They start getting uppity and rambunctious.
They get taken down. Chick claims she pregnant.

I doubt it.

Family and as far as I know "friends" didn't see it. Having said that, the stories better vary a little bit or it will come off as rehearsed.

Yes

No. The 2 warnings that he is going to shoot him tell me he was trying to get the guy to stop doing whatever he was doing so he wouldn't have to shoot.

I saw a lady on the ground. She was on her stomach. Video is poor. I couldn't even tell if she was pregnant. That shouldn't be hard to establish if it really needed to be. I'm more interested in this shite just ending and that's not going to help even if it was necessary to do.

Blacks tend to support their own when its two races involved. There were countless videos around election that showed obama got their vote because he was black and no other reason. Hell one of those videos wad a girl working voting booth in baton rouge where she said race was most important factor.
you see it in local elections where a terrible rep. Will never lose in their community. Somewhere in Texas few years ago candidate led people to Billieve he was black and was first white winner win over 2 decades.

Culture has a us vs them attitude esp. On inner cities...i think you are much more likely to find a white guy outting another white guy while black culture promotes snitches are bitches
