Release it earlier and witnesses say what? MB hit the officer? Ok, great, they just became a witness for the prosecution.

I'm pretty sure they weren't concerned with extra witnesses for the prosecution.

NVM I believe I misread. But see my above post. Everyone seems to forget the timeline.

They are blasting this guy doing the PC on the new shooting because they didn't use tasers.

It's terrible.

Someone posted this a while back but it is 100% true ......imagine what other countries think about us giving so much attention to just 12 to 13% of the population.
It's almost comical.
You'll throw up if you spent too much time thinking about it.

Because they are similar right. One cop on scene, unarmed suspect, but they can't both be legitimate use of force?

Real case study here is if protest will start early enough to prove the LE guilty.

protest should have a clear message though...this one doesn't. They are all over the place.

I agree. Their message has been clouded from day one. Is it race? Is it police brutality? Is it simply expressing distrust/hatred for a law enforcement department that they feel has been overly oppressive for a long time? Is it about justice? No one clear message. Doesn't mean you can't say it. Just means no one will take up your cause in the bigger picture if they don't understand what you're saying. Again, cross the line to violence because you don't have a message, and the game changes.

I think they both appear to be legitimate uses of force.

Dude handled that PC like a dang boss

Have you not told your officers to use restraing in situations like these due to what happened in Ferguson?

Sir do you think an officer should have a reasonable expectation to go home safe at night to see his family?

Sir are you putting this information out quickly due to Ferguson?

ARe you from around here? Oh your not, well obviously you don't know that this is how we handle situations in this city.

Is this confirmed or like the other phantom shootings over the past couple days?

Confirmed but unrelated. Was a few pages back. Dude went into store with knife. Cops called. Dude refuses to put knife down. Cops shoot. Another day in STL.

Suspect was within 3 feet, so I would hope they hit him.

Police say that a local alderman witnessed it go down. Sounds 100% justified

Here's an interesting case study. Let's compare the response to the latest shooting to the one in Ferguson and see what's different with respect to outcomes.

Like I said. City knows what it's doing when it comes to officer involved shootings. No worries on this one. Though, it's close proximity is a bit concerning.

Yes and no. Every officer involved shooting is so different. Both seem justifiable. Within 10 minutes of the shooting, we know the person shot was armed with a knife and involved in a theft.

I hope he's directing that sign towards his peers and not the police. Because he has waaaaaaaaay more to fear from them than the police. Sure, do the police treat black men like shite? Yes but they don't kill them like black men kill each other. Face reality.

McCulloch has already gone on record that he's going to release the info even if no indictment handed down. Unless it was posted wrong, at least more info will be available.
