What's more expensive? A lawsuit for the individual event or the cost to the city/county/businesses/community for the week?

If anyone is innocent I think cost shouldn't be a factor in determining that, and I doubt you would either if this pertained to you.

Any guesses on what information might come out today?

Video on poli board shows Brown allegedly paying for the cigars.

And link says owner of store claims to never have reported theft.

Yea, sounds smart. I suggest you do this next time you need legal advice

I do this all the time. All day erryday. Lawyers don't make anyone money or move anyone forward appropriately. Anyone who can't tell their lawyer "thanks for the advice, I'm doing this" isn't able to act appropriately. That's a protip.

You have been throwing this out from the get go when you defend something stupid.

Someone in the store (customer) called 911. Dorian admitted to the theft. Non-issue.

I thought it was already widely known that the store didn't call police, it was a female customer in the store that called 911

Except the police were guided by liability ($$$$$$$) in their decision as well. So it's the same metric. They just misjudged.

I don't have the time or patience to teach you how to construct a logic tree. And frankly, if you haven't learned how yet, you're probably not going to.

Right, I said they made poor decisions. How does this make them resposible for the foolish actions of those protesting?

It's not a lawyer's job to tell you what to do. It's his job to make you aware of the potential costs and consequences to various options. You still have to make your own decisions after weighing the risks.

I'm quite educated... but thanks for the offer.

Even went to it again after being called out on the petty childishness

I have never said it makes them responsible for the actions of the protesters. I do think early response would have greatly mitigated the social upheaval. That doesn't mean the police has the moral burden of the individual actions of the bad actors. It just means they were stupid and could've done better.

I'm so sure he'd sloppily or hastily grab an entire box of cigars off the counter dropping shite everywhere, instead of having them put in a bag and handed to him if he paid for them

You can bet he knows and will be glad to give you a lesson or two if you need it.
