If I hear that six shots is excessive again, I'm gonna scream.
Six shots from a semi auto weapon against someone that is charging you is not excessive. Hell, that's less than half the rounds in his weapon.

And we keep saying 6 shots, it's actually 5.... All parties involved have said one came from within the vehicle. Even his buddy Dorian says brown was hit from that shot.
So 5 shots could easily happen in 1-2 seconds.
