I've said it before, but the local county prosecutor has political aspirations. I don't think he wants anywhere near a trial that he has to run. I'm guessing he throws it at the grand jury level. And then comes back with a wash basin and washes his hands in public.

I mean, one of my first posts in this thread was that Wilson was guilty of murder. The more evidence that comes out, the more I lean towards innocent

He loses some substantial city support which any D needs to win statewide office. Maybe even win the primary. He needs his hometown to be behind him.
