Ok Professor, I am not sure what y'all means in Mizzou but it sure sounds like you were address this to me:

Y'all got payback last night. Lots of "hahaha" and "I told you so" texts going back and forth I'm sure. And then come in here and dress it up as righteous indignation.
You may call it crayfishing, but we call is crawfishing.

They'll lose. Police don't have to protect or serve anyone. That's just for the logos and bumper stickers.
True, but they usually have a built in excuse, as they aren't at the crime scene until after the crime has been committed. Except, here where they stood by and watched.

I'm not sure it matters. The Supreme Court has ruled they have discretion.

If you did not get an "I told you so" sense of elation when you found out about the looting, then I apologize for attributing that feeling to you.

I know, failed humor attempt on my part.

I thought it was understood slang, like saying/typing "n'awlins" or "da boot".

If it was supposed to be funny...well...

quote:Thanks. I've seen that. Not sure that would be admissible, especially if the guy(s) saying that don't come forward as witnesses. At this point, I wouldn't expect anyone from the community to come forward with a story supporting the police officer's side of things. . .
Its a guy videoing a few min after the shooting.
You can hear 2 different people in the background talking and from what they are saying, Brown was coming at the officer as he was shot... They say stuff like "He just kept coming"

US House of Representatives for that area. And general POS.

Naw, I was concerned the champagne corks were popped to early so I wasn't surprised.... but there is nothing to celebrate in this big clusterfack.
I do truly feel for the collateral damage like the store owner. Think of what that poor son of a bitch has been through this week.... and to have it end with his place ransacked with the cops just watching is just wrong to me on so many levels.
We don't sacrifice the innocent in this country as appeasement to evil (and that may be way to altruistic of me).

I wasn't being serious about it. My feelings don't get hurt that easily. Just see the common mistake made on tRant often. I get the point either way.

Def not admissible, but Im wondering if these people have given statements.... Not that I think they would say what they said when they didn't know they were on tape, but would be interesting.

Police did too much, police didn't do enough, blah, blah, blah. It isn't always someone elses fault.

No. It's not too altruistic of you. I support unbridled altruism. And I agree with your sentiment above.

This goes two ways. The police have handled their end ignominiously in this whole scenario. From last Saturday to today. They're responsible for their poor handling of every situation. They don't just get to say, "The looters did all this."
