Sorry, I'm removing speculation about if the FBI plans to press charges or not. That's going to be a huge hot button and I don't want to spread any rumors about what they are going to do unless it has a strong source behind it.

Just for clarification on the police departments involved...
The city of St Louis has a separate police force from the county of St. Louis. County is @stlcountypd and city is @SLMPD.
Within St Louis County there are municipal police forces like the Ferguson Police Dept.
An officer from the Ferguson Police Dept. was the one involved in the shooting of Mike Brown.
The City of St Louis Police Dept. appears to have denied involvement in Ferguson.
The County of St Louis Police Dept. was brought in and handed the investigation by the Ferguson Police Dept. It's been said that the authority over law enforcement in reaction to this week's protests has changed back and forth. Last night, the County was in control.
Gov. Nixon has removed the St Louis County Police Dept. and has let the FBI take over.

The armored vehicles are the STL County or City or some combination thereof.

Haven't you seen the prototype Pitbull? The one that has rocket motors because regular hoverboards don't work on water ;)

I get that and it was appropriate.

But if ISIS communicates by twitter, then why aren't they cut off?

(though in my gut I think the US government wants their access allowed for easier monitoring)

Al Jazeehra US

quote:

Earlier on Wednesday, authorities urged people to confine their protests to daylight after three nights of tense confrontations, looting, tear gas and a second shooting nearby.

An Al Jazeera journalist was tear-gassed, and two other reporters covering the protests said they were arrested at a McDonald's restaurant.

Al Jazeera's Ash-Har Quraishi said the team had thought they had reached a safe area when they were tear-gassed.

"The Al Jazeera crew were in a place we believed to be safe," he said.

"Soon afterwards people started running towards us saying they were being fired on with rubber bullets. Rubber bullets were fired on us, and then a canister. We had to retreat into the neighbourhood."

I worry about people who don't bother to check out a single thing before they post smart-assed stuff on the Twitta.

you should see the list of racially oriented organizations in Ferguson right now "helping out".

I see why some of the groups exist, but the majority seem to only do it for attention, then donations, then profit, then they look for more attention. Some groups do a lot.

If he's so freaking concerned, why hasn't he spoken out yet? Plenty of opportunity while he was in.his position. Millions of dollars spent purchasing this shite.
