I agree with you there. What is up with that golf course that’s in development along 397 and McNeese? It seems so out of place out there.

I’m now part of the Iowa community.
I wish I knew more about the area. Seems like small country suburb. Think we’ll love it.
We were looking at building in Waterside but passed. Seemed like it would be busy before all this. Now..woof.

Didn’t realize that. I took a random ride down to Mallard Cove a few weeks ago and wow that place is wrecked. Will it just be abandoned or do future plans exist for that land? Its in a weird location on the backside of Chennault.

They shut down Mallard Cove? I worked there pre and post Rita. It was always a pretty decent course and always busy. I wasn’t around when they built the new clubhouse if that even happened.

My grandma used to clip coupons for me from the Sulphur paper for like $5 greens or some crazy shite at Bayou Oaks.

PS was a goat ranch I never liked playing MC for some reason, it just didn’t feel like a gc should. Frasch is a track that has really improved but I don’t play anymore so it doesn’t matter.
Getting back to LC growing, that strip down mcneese to 397 is only 2 miles wide so it’s going to move south from mcneese.
