I hope the judge not only throws out the case but allows you to slap the cop for wasting time on the clock

No but you can’t have an unrestrained dog in the front passenger area of a vehicle and there is a law for that.

I'd rather have him in the bed of my truck - but I can't do that anymore.

Really? There is a law against this?

Don’t even get that conversation started in some crowds. I made that mistake once and the dog rescue women where quick to call me a heartless cruel bastard. I always thought a dog in the pickup bed was a cool status symbol.

Where is AL.COM when you need them. I've been following this shite since January with sadistic glee:

I got pulled over by a sheriff who informed me that there was an ordinance in my county outlawing a dog riding in your pickup bed. I felt like Clark W. Griswold.

Yes, but even when a company does decide to open up there's several "no go" zones because it's a shuthole and the people there are extremely unintelligent. That's pretty much why 7 or 8 parishes probably make up 80%+ of the state's GDP.

The Town of Washington is in St Landry Parish, not Washington Parish
