It's clear now that [Baton Rouge - LSU] = "Really Hot Detroit"

After seeing the true colors of many of BR's leaders after this Sterling fiasco combined with the overall leadership at the State Capitol, does anyone regret not letting St. George form?

I understand the leaders of St. George might have been shady (at least that's what the BR people said at the time), but come on, let's be real. Almost all the BR leaders are just as, if not more, shady.

I, for one, think they should have at least been allowed to vote.

ETA: I was EXTREMELY impressed with the local black leadership kicking those outa state BLM protesters to the curb in BR. So this isn't an attack on BR (except for the Detroit zinger, I stand by that)

No one was shady. The BR Together crowd tried to play every card in the book from preventing a vote to happen and they did. Even calling us racists, terrorists, etc... Even their last minute incorporation grab barely worked.

BR Together can't let that happen. Because they sure as shite know that our taxes is what is keeping BR afloat. If St. George were to happen, migration away from BR would continue, and we'd actually have good schools in the city area.

You frickers are retarded. St George would have encompassed the Gardere area, the Section 8 areas of Siegen Lane, as well as the less desirable portions of Perkins Road. The demographics of the area are probably right along state averages....may be off on that, but the area would have covered lots of non-crackers.

Then what was the point? I thought we were all just trying to make a safe place to raise our white kids.
