So you're basically going to call everything that you don't agree with - a lie. That's awesome.
Which prisoner did you learn your strategy from, and what is he locked up for?

I really hope this STG thing happens. It would be an attractive option for me if I wanted to stay in EBR. Not everyone wants to leave the parish they want to stay here and make it better but leadership doesn’t realize this. They just want to keep feeding the low lives in the parish that drag the whole city and parish down.

The fact was there were enough sigs submitted to the registrar, unfortunately the opposition had time to convince more than 71 voters to change their minds and withdraw their sigs.
Even after that many sigs were tossed because a John Doe signed as Johnny Doe or a William Doe signed as Bill Doe.

I may the original OP here.
It still isn't clear.
So some property/sales taxes in the StG area go to BR since its unincorporated? Someone mentioned libraries and other services, but that's parish, not BR.
What monies would BR lose if StG becomes a city? To me it seems there is no monies to be lost by BR, only EBRP would lose school money.
I'm still not sure what BR loses if StG forms. It's seems like they will lose nothing tax wise. Only the parish will lose tax money.

Unincorporated EBR pays two per cent sales taxes to the EBR Parish treasury. From what I understand EBR treasury funds are administered by the CP Council and the mayor. They are not separated. And I do not believe there is a separate accounting.
If SG becomes a city those funds would stay in SG, and would be administered by the SG government.
The CP Council and Mayor would lose control.

I called them lies because they were lies. Baton rouge did not prevent a new high school. The desegregation order did.
Baton Rouge did not prevent the ISD, the Louisiana Legislature did.
Baton Rouge did not tell the ISD proponents they needed a city, the Legislative black caucus proposed that.
The city did not annex property, the various property owners requested annexation.
Everything in your original post was either a lie, or you are just uninformed.

Let me guess, you’re paid by or affiliated with together Baton Rouge?
Regardless, the fact that people are trying to stifle a vote basically is a modern day voter suppression and disenfranchisement. It’s something the Democrats have been doing their whole existence. There’s no reason to change now. It used to be women and African Americans. Now, it’s middle class whites.

Gotcha. So if its incorporated and I live in the unincorporated area between 2 black families, how much time do they have before they have to move out? That's what happens right? This is a racist movement and when it happens, all the blacks have to leave the area right? RIGHT? What? Everyone that lives there, all the races will stay in the same place? WAIT! I WAS PROMISED THIS WAS ABOUT WHITE PEOPLE NOT WANTING TO LIVE BY BLACK PEOPLE? Please explain? Thanks

bullshite.
Kip and Mary Olive approached these property owners and enticed them to request annexation so they could frick over the first effort.
That's why the law was passed that suspends any annexations while such a petition and vote is pending.

How does incorporating and unincorporated area do that? As previously mentioned, will the 2 black neighbors I have be forced to move? Will they get their own parks? Their own water fountains? Bus stops? I'll be here waiting on your answer. Thx

But your assertion makes the current city Baton Negro, correct? Is anyone complaining that the north side of the city is 99% black or has anyone? Has anyone accused blacks of black flight to the north to avoid white people? Link please? Thanks
