I guess they need something to take the place of not having a fricking phone in their hand.

Fidget cubes are a thing, too.
Looks like that would be a good workout to lube up Mrs. JFT

My wife, no pics, told me she took 9 away from students in her first grade class yesterday. Supposed to be used to help with ADHD. Instead, are being used as ninja stars and she don't have patience for a student ninja'n somebody that don't need ninja'n.

My son goes to a Nazi style Catholic school, you know...the kind with tons of BS rules, where they focus on everything but making them smarter...I'm afraid this spinner won't last a day. She give them back? I kind of want it when he's on to the next fad.

I'm a guy that constantly has twisted up paper clips, and other random crap on my desk that I play with while I'm on the phone. My mother in law bought me a spinner and one of the little cubes. I play with them constantly. For some reason they are oddly satisfying.
I have always had silly putty at my desk. I love it. I just got me a spinner and I know play with both. I always have to have something to do.

We got my son one because he just can't keep still he's constantly bouncing balls off the wall swinging a bat fidgeting with his hands etc. he's not ADHD he's just a boy who can't keep still
So of course we get my daughter one because he has one and all the cool kids have them and she gets hers taken away at school and my wife had to email the teacher to givenit back.

Parents that allow their kids to play the bottle flip game are trashy and deserve to burn in hell.

Too bad i don't already have one. Trying to decide which one to get is giving me anxiety.

She gave them back at the end if the day but I told her next time keep at least one for me. Could use it while working instead of refreshing TD threads all day. If not, I'll use it as a ninja star too.

Just imitate Capt. Queeg and play with steel balls.

That sucks for the kids with adhd. I guess the other parents took advantage of it so the kids that need cant have it.
My kids kindergarten teacher asked us to buy my son some fidget toys. He can't sit perfectly still all day and do boring worksheets like the school nazi's want him to.
They make him sit in a wobble chair and we got him some of these fidget toys. The teacher says they are working but she still says he needs medicine. His pediatrician is adamant that a damn 5 year old doesn't need to be on adhd medicine yet.
I'm willing to try anything to keep my young guy off medicine so the fidget toys have helped.

It's much better than that fricking bottle flipping game they're playing
I just thought maybe my nephews were just retarded. Makes sense now that this is actually a thing.
I swear

I also ordered one of these from Kickstarter a while back.
Fidget Focus Pen
Eagerly awaiting it's arrival.

The teacher that took my daughters away said if she had a note from a dr or parents she would let them have it. She considers it a toy unless they have a note.

We were leaving to go to a practice last week and my son was flipping a Gatorade bottle, full, unopened with the cap on in my kitchen. Little shite head flipped the bottle onto the cap and broke it..... made his arse mop it up, and he was late for practice.
