Spinoff: will you join a line around the building

When you go to the drive thru will you join a long line or take off? I think I've gotten more screwed up orders when I've walked in rather than wait. You can always tell when you walk in whether or not a bunch of slugs work there by the conditions of the dining area. If those folks were getting $15hr then I'm sure the line would always move. I take it as a sign the place isn't working well if the line is excessively long

Have you ever been to a Chick-fil-a? Really long lines but they work them efficiently. People standing outside taking orders to help things move faster.

Some mornings I'll see that the line at Starbucks is out into the street

Until Arnaud`s or Commander's Palace sets up a drive thru, I don't have to worry about making a choice when I dine out.

Never go to the drive thru. Always go up to the counter. Why? Okokokokok...they f#%&$ you at the drive thru. They know you're going to be miles away before you fond out.

The drive through line will almost always be faster. As a bonus, you won't be in the fast food joint when the place gets held up and everyone gets walked to the cooler.

Chick Fil A will be backed up all the way so that the line goes down Veterans and they'll still get me my food in under 5 mins.
