For those carrying 9mm, what's your choice in ammo? I hope not FMJ's.

absolutely love my XDM, but when i shot the XDS .45 it had so many FTE's it made me untrusting of it. Idk if it was just my buddy hadn't cleaned it or what but i wasn't a fan. The first time i shot it i thought it was going to fly out my hand

I have a CCL but never really carry. It stays in my truck during the day and on my nightstand in the evening.

But, I don't carry it since I feel very safe where I live. Count me in as a gun holder though, if you're making a list.

Yeah dude I'm naive. Me and 300+ million Americans that don't carry a gun around are all naive. You and your .000001% are the only ones that know what's up.

You may already be aware of this but there was a safety recall on these a few years ago.

quote:

Smith & Wesson has issued a major consumer safety alert for all M&P Shield Pistols manufactured before August 19, 2013.

Released August 22, 2013, the safety alert identified an issue where the M&P Shield’s trigger bar pin could damage the trigger’s drop safety feature—enabling the pistol to potentially discharge when dropped.

Carrying a weapon around when it's not necessary is a huge potential liability. Some of these people will figure it out one day.

I mean I carry it when I go out to friend's/family's property, and I holster it up when I do the "you talking to me?" thing in the mirror. IDK, a $200 holster seemed to round out the HK pistol package perfectly. It lives in the holster at my house, along with 13 Speer Gold Dots.

I take it back. You're not naive. If you really believe those numbers you just posted, instead of being naive, you're an idiot.

Why do you Dirty Harrys need to carry?

I bet you guys are all drug dealers, so the protection is warranted.

So you know before you go out every day if you will or won't need to defend yourself on that particular day? That's impressive.

I've been a CCP holder for over 20 years and I've still not figured it out despite leaving my house with a pistol on my person literally thousands of times. What is it exactly that I'm supposed to be figuring out?

Where do you travel Dirty Harry which requires protection for such dangerous chance encounters?

I would imagine those going as far as carrying regularly would use good ammo.

Gold dots and HST for me.
