This is a nice checklist. I have grown and have come across men with traits similar to these, and I see how this could be detrimental to a marriage.

My checklist:
single.. whether that's never been married, divorced, widowed, don't care. Just single
gainfully employed...don't care what he does or how much money he makes, but he has to contribute.
age appropriate...for me 22 is not age appropriate.

If me and mine stay separated I could see myself married again in 12-24 months if I found the right one. I might stay away from redheads this time but not a deal breaker

I've decided that I would rather be single then married again. I'll miss my wife if she doesn't come home but at least I have 3 wonderful kids that I hope to spend plenty of time with. I was an idiot but hindsight is 20/20 can't fix the past only try to prepare for and make sure the future is better.
