I had a Patterson, almost exactly like the one in this photo. My brother road it to K&B to get some candy and it was stolen. I was well into high school, and no longer into BMX, so I wasn't that upset at the time. I wish I still had it today, good memories.

Me back in the day.. I think that was desoto downs outside of Dallas. I raced for about 10 years. Quit when I moved back to BR from Houston. BMX scene sucks here.

Built this thinking I was going to get back in the game about 6-7 years ago. I'm here to tell you that it's not that easy anymore. I can barely Do a fricking lap. And I was a pretty high level rider back in the day. Now... not so much

I remember the Hutch Trickstar, 90% pink. It looked ghey, but when you were able to see it in person, it was kind of a cool looking bike.

Fun times. Around '85 in BTR Saturday races were at Cullen's and Sundays were at Shipleys.

Was heavy into back in the 80's. The fellas and I would head to the quarter and style back then, mostly all flatland in the Kenner area. I had a Dyno, but lower spec'd version. Lots of fun, I still ride today - MTB and Roadie.

My chums and I worked in the Cullen's warehouse on weekends and holidays. Keith sold us bikes and parts at a discount, and let us use the track out back.

Had an all blue Redline.

My FIL owns the bike shop in Houma. He's been selling bikes since the early 80's. Says it's unreal how sales have dropped the past 8 years or so. Not as many kids riding anymore. It's a shame...so many good memories on my bike as a kid.
