Spinoff: Have you ever confronted a parent beating their kid in public?

I was in Albertson's last week and this grandma was not only complaining to the check out guy that he was double charging her, but she was also beating and screaming at her 3 year old grand kid for merely hanging on the cart.
I told her to hurry up and quit talking to the kid like that. she said it was none of my business. She was probably right, but was taking forever to check out, so it was kinda my business.

i remember when i was about 6 or 7 and someone attempted to confront my dad about disciplining me....

No, majority of the time, the kid deserves it. Hell, I know I was that kid a few times too.
I can still remember if me or one of my brothers weren't behaving in church my dad would yank our asses up and whip us in the parking lot. Didn't wanna mess around in church with my dad.
