Yup. My experience too. Same with United. It's only American where I experienced the screaming mask nazis. Probably had more to do with them being based in Seattle than anything.

unless they're a foreign language speaker we usually don't have flight attendants on the crew that don't qualify for Medicare

In my experience, about 1 in every 20 female flight attendants on domestic airlines is OT 6 (IRL 8) or higher.

Flew round trip to & from Japan, a Japanese airline from Houston to Tokyo, Tokyo to L.A. & the flight attendants were all Japanese 9-10's. Slim, cute, friendly. Took off from L.A. to N.O. & the first flight attendant, United, I saw could barely fit between the seats. Moved like a slow waddle.

perfect description, a few years ago I was coming through customs/immigration in ORD behind three crews from JAL, KAL, and Singapore Airlines, all of their flight attendants were young, pretty, all immaculately dressed in their regulation uniforms, makeup done perfectly, looking hot and professional, my wife was waiting for me as we were going to stay in downtown Chicago for a few days, when I got to her she was actually laughing, I axed her what was so funny and she repeated the description of the three foreign crews and said "and then here you come with your herd of cattle waddling up at the rear of the procession"

Saw a smokeshow on the MSY-LGA delta flight back in April. First time I can recall a really attractive one in 15 years and probably 100 flights.

Had one on Southwest a few years ago that was one of the best-looking women I have ever seen. Face was OT Unicorn level.

oh no, after they've been around awhile and get a little seniority they're well into six figures, problem is that to make that income they don't really have much of a life, all they do is work
ETA: not talking about the puddle jumpers and upstarts, although with the overall shortage in bodies needed to cover the schedule I'm sure their pay is being upped too
