Seems most now are older women who look like they were hot 10 years ago and flamboyant homosexual men.

Hot flight attendants seem to be reserved for international travel. Now I have had some fun flight attendants, especially only some smaller planes like Little Rock to Baton Rouge, but not hot.

there used to be age, height, weight, grooming, even education standards that had to be met before being hired as a flight attendant, these standards had to be maintained after being hired, bunch of old, fat, uglies sued, "waaaaahhh! we want the the job but we don't want to have to meet/maintain the standard requirements" that's how the hell you did it

European airlines, for the most part have attractive FAs, but they tend to be more rude than US ones.
I’ve flown Icelandair, Lufthansa multiple times, Austrian Air, and Czech Air and they’ve all been rude and cold but that’s probably just their culture. They were all good looking though.
British airways flight attendants are pretty friendly though.

ETA: to expand on “how the hell” lawyers did it, obviously it took lawyers to bring the suit forward but regardless of the initial outcome of the suit the airline lawyers just caved and said why don’t we just do away with all standards and requirements for being hired, and that’s where we’re at today

Yup. My experience too. Same with United. It's only American where I experienced the screaming mask nazis. Probably had more to do with them being based in Seattle than anything.
Their gray haired, over weigh luggage nazi holding up boarding lines because they have to "measure" every freaking carry-on is beyond ridiculous.
I choose Delta or Southwest any time over AA.
