it’s just that negativity sells on the internet. So the people that hate light beer are loud in the Coors thread and the people who hate good beers are loud in the craft beer thread

If I drink inexpensive beer it is usually Yuengling.
For good beer there is a long list but my favorites:
Hel & Verdoemenis which bottle ages well, the label says "Enjoy within 25 years".
Most all of the true Trappists beers my favorite is La Trappe
The stouts from Clown Shoes. The best beer I ever had was a limited release Smoked Imperial Stout from them called Hammer of the Holy. I think it came out in 2010 or 2011 and I drank my last bottle about a year ago.
I much prefer malt-forward beers so the heavily hopped IPAs are not remotely my thing. Anything over about 60 IBU and I am generally not interested.
