In addition to "pencil pop" (at least that's what we called it)
What are some other "games" you remember playing in school? Some that I remember...
1) Handslap
2) Bloody Knuckles (taking turns hitting each other's knuckles until one person quit)
3) Dollar Drop - one person drops a dollar and the other person calls "heads" or "tails" and whoever gets it right keeps the dollar. If you were good at it you could make a decent amount of $
4) Table football
What are some others?

When i was real young, we used to play Red Rover. Nothing like clotheslining the kid who was mean to you in the lunchline.
Grades 5-10, we played the hell out of some Wall Ball (tennis ball against a brick or concrete wall).

I dont remember a game. But there were a lot of indian rug burns given out as a consequence in elementary school.
Recess was a lot of tag (freeze tag, tv tag, girls chasing boys and getting a kiss if they tagged them).

We played spades or hearts nearly every day in almost all classes during my senior year.
Of course there was also the game to see who could say penis the loudest and not get caught.

Doorknob. When a person farted, he had to say doorknob before someone else after said it otherwise he got beat until he touched a doorknob. Obviously we didn’t play this in school.

We played pencil pop and hand slap. Also played paper football and coin basketball. Tape all (baseball with a big wad of balled up tape and your hand).
In highschool we played a game we called Get Like Me. One person flipped a coin to see if it came up heads or tails. Second person flipped their coin. If it came up the same as #1, player 2 wins. If it came up opposite, player 1 wins. Winner keeps both coins.

Hackysack became real big when I was in like 6th grade.
You weren’t shite unless you brought your hackysack to recess. And it better have not been one of those vinyl covered balls you got from Celebration Station for 800 tickets either.
It had to be one of the legit cloth woven, worn, slightly loose, bean filled sacks that had good action or you’d get laughed off the playground and had to go play 4 square with the other non-sackers

I learned in elementary school how paper, rock, scissors or evens/odds could solve all debates.
Today, an important family decision is never made without paper, rock, scissors.
