Smelling two stroke outboard exhaust reminds me of a day of water skiing on the river.
Smelling creosote pilings reminds me of my grandparents old summer house in Waveland as a child, fishing from their pier. And that was over 50 years ago.
Smell of a marsh in the morning as the sun comes up reminds me of a day of fishing.
