Elected to opt out of in law Christmas stuff this year. I've got a bunch of ML and liquor for the next few days.

Anyone else spending Saturday and Sunday alone?

IN. Wife is back in Alabama with her family, and we visited my family a couple weeks ago.

Spending Christmas alone is one of the most stress free, incredible things ever. Thought I'd be lonely last year. Nope. It was awesome.

Got the dog as well. We will be eating deer tenderloin, mashed potatoes and an 8# honey baked ham.

Eta. How's the divorce going

This is even an optional thing? Whoa.

We normally have a few floaters over for dinner with us but nobody this year so it will be tame with just 9-10 peoples.

While not alone I will be here in Saudi surrounded by folks who will not be celebrating the day in any meaningful way.

In Galveston waiting to fly offshore....day 2. Fog is thicker than what it was yesterday. Either way, those truck nuts aren't going to pay for themselves, baw.

Wouldn't even consider it unless I was emotionally unable to be around other people for whatever reason. Being around friends and family is my favorite part of Christmas.
