Complications arose, ensued, were overcome.

I would like to know why every BRPD known to man was at the BREC facility off of northbound sherwood this morning.
Luckily my white privilege allowed me to ride the rest of the way to work amongst the dozens of cops...illegal tint and all.

How’d they know you had white privilege if your windows are tinted?

What, you haven't gotten your window sticker yet?

We all got them hand delivered and had to give the secret handshake.

It cracks me up that so many of those officers, especially the white ones, keep going to work every day knowing that the administration is gonna frick them over at every chance it gets.

We know about the ticket quota thing. What would happen if they all got together and decided to not write tickets? "Sorry Boss, just didn't see anybody doing anything wrong."
They are in a system that does not support them so financial support of that system could be easily withdrawn.
If 1 leo writes 3 tickets, per hour, for 8 hours, that is 24 tickets per shift. Tickets seem to average about $200 now. That is $4800, per shift, per officer. I am guessing there are at least 300 officers, per day, writing tickets. that is $1,440,000 per day.
I don't know the actual numbers and would like to hear someone more familiar with it to chime in.

They got it rough low pay, a Chief that is a political hack not a real chief, and a community that hates them.
The ones close to retirement are probably planning their path.
- older ones straight out retire
- younger ones find new career outside law enforcement to supplement retirement
- depending on skills security consultants
- find job another dept if they choose to stay in their field
Younger ones are just going to have a few choices.
- suck it up play the game 12 to 14 yrs on avg
- find new less SJW dept that pays better
- find a new career path that pays more

If I was a young cop I’d look into state, wildlife and fisheries, ATF, FBI, homeland, or if good enough maybe military.
