There are at least 70,000 billboards between Orlando and New Orleans. At least it feels that way.

In this article, we don't even break the top 5. Also says there are roughly 341,610 billboards in the US.




Also, not surprising who came in first..

1) FLORIDA
Florida leads the pack with a whopping 11,109 active permits on file for billboards throughout the entire state.

I swear there used to be 70k billboards on I-95 in SC & NC alone for South of the Border.

I read the article and nowhere in it does it say that our billboards account for 10% of the nations. It simply says it's a "hefty percentage of the national total". According to wikipedia:
