Because she thinks it's a fashion shoot.

It's no wonder she's a social media consultant

shame on Arizona State University if they let this sway their decision. people that give in like this are a bigger part of the problem. this would stop if they stopped giving the brats power.

It's the equivalent to settling out of court vs. taking the case to trial. These schools need to placate their overwhelmingly progressive staffs or risk bad publicity/losing money

Sonya Forte Duhé

She was at one time in the 80's a news anchor for the NBC affiliate in Baton Rouge, then she became a journalism professor at LSU for a few years. She also worked for the journalism department at South Carolina (might have been a dean, I'm not sure) before coming back home to Loyola.

I had some dealings with her when she was at LSU and I got to know her a little...well enough to know that Arizona State is fricking this up and missing out on a true professional. This is absolutely their loss. Dr. Duhe will land on her feet somewhere, be it back at Loyola or somewhere else.

This mob mentality bullshite that is affecting people's livelihood needs to stop.

It's really disheartening to see good people destroyed because a bunch of whiny arse kids want to make a name for themselves and impose their power on innocent people for the sake of vanity.

I question the intelligence of someone spending so much time and money to obtain a journalism degree in the past 10+ years.

the people who actually create jobs that keep the city afloat need to step up. Stop hiring Loyola grads. Stop catering to that place, period. Don't donate to them. (Not talking about Loyola law)

And apparently it will have to be "somewhere else". Loyola has announced that they will not hire her back. Good for her. She doesn't need that liberal shithole of a college.

I think what really happened here is that the hubbub resulted in ASU finding out that the doc is a Conservative and they didn’t know that before. They just used the Racism thing to rescind her offer. They are breathing a sigh of relief.

Maybe someone can prove this wrong, but I'm going to assume that you don't become the dean of a journalism school unless you are a full tilt pillow-biting progressive democrat.

Not with an hyphenated last name....

Plus I assume this is her son?

What a sad, sad commentary on the sensitive nature of some college students. It appears the professor was trying to prepare them for the real world of employment and her alleged "conservative" views were objectionable.

It's a cold cruel world out there boys and girls. If I were their interview or hiring manager there's no way I'd take one on and have them poison my office culture and ruin work place cohesion.

Grow up little children - you too ASU.

I hope she sues their arse off.
