SpaceX has a KSC launch early Thursday morning and the booster will flying for the 30th time.

It was a good test. A few hinky things happened in the engine compartment and with the rear flaps, but the redesigned front flaps worked like champs.

I think they have to be pleased - Starship should be ready for actual orbital operations now.

What happened to solid fuel boosters to assist 1 st stages ? They seem to have been pretty reliable !

They’re still in use in other space programs.

However, they’re not rapidly reusable so they don’t fit the profile for the Starship.
