I tuned in again for the first time in like 2 hours and these frickers are still droning on. How do they talk about space for so long waiting literal hours and hours waiting for a launch?

take questions from the super chatters (people who send them money and ask questions) from all over the world

these guys have a wealth of knowledge on what's going on

road remains open

village remains un-evacuated

TFR remains in place right now

NASASpaceflight guys expect to know something within the next 30 minutes or so... either for the village residents to get a notice to evacuate (good news for a flight) or see the TFR get lifted (flight scrubbed)

It's cloudy and there is a weather concern, for those people not watching a stream or reading updates other than in this thread.

Elon’s the kind of guy who asks “Why aren’t their flying cars?”

“Well, we have this experimental technology, but we see no marketable value in implementing it.”

Elon: “Screw it. Here’s $10 billion. Make it work, and let me worry about how to market it.”

there are TFRs in place for Saturday & Sunday... but Cameron County doesn't want road closures on weekends so vacationers can get to the beaches... so chances are low for a weekend test flight but could possibly happen

Monday looks next best day for test flight of SN-15

NASASpaceflight is live for the 3rd weekday in a row hoping to see SN-15 get off the ground

let's see if 3rd time is the charm

I mean... sure... it is a fricking rocket

but in this case it's a temporary flight restriction

why even attempt a launch between march - june? the weather is pretty much guaranteed to be windy & rainy.

Pretty sure the weather there is not optimal and it's going to get scratched again today.

Doesn’t appear to be any rain in the area. Just overcast and winds up to 15 knots

It's a test flight that isn't going into orbit. The launch window is only limited by the FAA launch license, which is 8 hours long today. They can launch any time in that window. They launch when they're ready.
