NASASpaceflight on YouTube - Tuesday coverage

I say attempt #1 b/c weather is not good today along the Texas Gulf coast so not sure if SpaceX will be able to get it off the ground today.

Will add the SpaceX link once it becomes live should they actually attempt a flight

Elon wants rockets to be as reusable as commercial airline planes. Airliners land in bad weather all the time. Step up you game Mr. Musk.

I like what spacex is trying to do but as a complete layman I have to say those are some pretty unimpressive looking rockets.

Looks like they are launching grain bins.

Bezo's company has been launching dildo shaped rockets...but that may just me an homage to how he made his money.

Landing a rocket back on Earth after launch is the definition of "stepping it up".

I’m being an arse. I’m actually a big fan of Elon and thinks he’s doing more to advance humanity than anyone else has in generations. That’s why I gotta keep him on his toes with snarky posts on an anonymous Internet forum.

Will be watching.

Every time I see that thing I think of this show when Andy Griffith made a rocket out of parts in his junkyard

The pad view videos of the flip maneuver have to be the coolest rocket footage of all time. (terrestrially speaking)

as of 9:40 AM... the road around the facility is still open and the village of Boca Chica has not yet been evacuated

so the flight is currently not imminent

if it happens... it's expected sometime this afternoon

Yeah, they ugly, but from a technical standpoint, that seems pretty damn impressive.

I was wondering how they landed those things like that.. first time seeing the tilting main thrusters in action like that.

So cool.

I tuned in again for the first time in like 2 hours and these frickers are still droning on. How do they talk about space for so long waiting literal hours and hours waiting for a launch?
