I wonder if having 33 first stage engines is part of the problem? The more things that can go wrong...
Booster is considered very reliable right now
The RUD it suffered during the last flight was due to SpaceX testing its limits and was considered part of the test (why FAA didn't require a mishap investigation for that part of it)
But it has successfully launched from the 2nd flight on without incident
Starship V1 was actually getting there too... V2 has been snakebit
ETA: the booster for this flight has already gone through its own static fire test, with all 33 engines, successfully

There is this odd hatred for anything associated with Musk.
Musk has the fairly common ability to irritate ~50% of the population. His superpower in that arena is being able to shift those halves from love to hate on a regular basis at the speed of a Tweet.
The problem for him is that with each swing, he leaves a few more people with pendulum fatigue, and when most of them get off the ride, they disembark between ambivalence and hate.
Musk is also a rare human that is not only a visionary but one with the vast personal wealth to pursue the visions. That usually comes with a dose of narcissism which can lead to the belief that not only can they do everything, but they have to do everything. This is a recipe for mental disaster because there aren't enough hours in the day or days in a life. I worry that each new endeavor will be his Spruce Goose.

That’s the fourth Starship explosion this year. Astronaut applications for Musk’s planned manned missions to the moon and Mars must be dropping precipitously.

Why are you comparing a tricycle to an off road dump truck?
Definitely not because both are supposed to go to the moon

Who's happier about this? The leftist cult or the MAGA cult?

Starliner is the capsule that takes crew to the ISS.

Leftists are pro-science and Magats are anti-science, so the answer to your question should be self-evident.

...one way, so far.

You're right ULA's Artemis has been much more successful.

I think he's confusing SLS/Aretmis with Starliner, not sure.

Those are hot-button political issues, not science.

Yeah that whole test stand is out of commission for a few months. No more Starship launches until 2026 IMO

Can’t wait to see what he has planned for the 4th of July.

I would imagine they have a contingency plan in place to keep testing going with the Massey's test stand offline
Maybe the OLM is an option?
Not sure if it has the right hook ups for Starship on the bottom QD
