At this point, NASA has a better success rate.

He is not afraid to fail which is something I admire. I see a lot of paralysis in the chemical industry. People seem to expect perfect success or nothing at all. That’s a loser mentality in my opinion

He builds his liberal cars that run off electricity to try to put us oilfield guys out of business but what does he use in his spaceship pet project? Good ol American gasoline
He should have to make the rockets electric

That idiot won’t even buy Standard Lithium. He could literally travel to Mars with one super sack of dilithium crystals

Good topic! It seems every time there’s anything having to do with Elon an amazing amount of hateful ignorance spews forth much as a knee-jerk reaction unabashedly proclaiming look how stupid I am! And they don’t care that they appear to be absolute morons.
Interesting behavior.

Starship uses liquid methane and liquid oxygen.

Didn’t happen. It rained down in little pieces.

It was pretty close to water before RUD. Hopefully with all the 4K cameras out there, someone got it

NASA is funding Starship, so I'd say their success is tied at the hip.

People actually, unironically use this dumbshit term?

My daughter did the same thing when she turned 15

I just don’t see Artemis III happening before 2030. I honestly don’t see Starship being certified for human flight until 2035 at least.
It’s a far more complex system than the capsule system we rely on today for safety and redundancy.

They may look at getting Falcon Heavy up to speed for it. Right now the limitations, besides not being actually designed for this

Upgrading payload/fairing is actually not that expensive or complex, the capsule is the issue. Orion is not designed to sit at top Falcon, so there would be some integration work. On the other side, Dragon is not designed for lunar duty. The general conclusion though it would be cheaper to modify Falcon for the task, than launch another SLS. Politics are holding us back, which is why SLS is even a thing. It should have been scrapped billions of $$$ ago.
