I have no idea what just happened. My stream had too much latency. It was soaring, then falling, then smoking.

The nasa guys were giddy as hell that the test was a great success.

I think it was way more violent than intended. It looked like that whole sequence happened too late and it had to very violently try to save itself.

shite was amazing to watch

The way it just stalled and then rolled into the controlled dive was crazy.

seems like they waited way too long to light the engines and reorient it, or just one of the engines just failed to ignite, they had a good trajectory but didn't have enough room to slow it down, or couldn't slow it down fast enough

Yea no doubt. It was amazingly acrobatic and hit arse-first right where they wanted it to. Just came in hot.

I think only two of the engines relit, not sure if that was by design or not.

And in slo-mo it looks like one of the ones that did light burned out just before it touched down

from the side angle I could only see 2 flames... meaning only 2 of the 3 Raptors relit for landing

I could just be blind... there's a reason I'm not an aerospace engineer

Also, on the slow mo you see the landing legs don’t look like they deployed.

The fact it did the belly flop maneuver, re-ignited the engines, and was oriented perfectly to land is amazing. All of those have never happened before.

just wait like 15 minutes

there will be 15 different uploads on YouTube of the event coming

1 of them will probably be from SpaceX's own YouTube

Fuel header tank pressure was low during landing burn, causing touchdown velocity to be high & RUD, but we got all the data we needed! Congrats SpaceX team hell yeah!!
