Full video on SpaceX twitter

There is a camera inside the engine bay, and you can see only two of them light for the landing (the way they move is incredible btw), and then one of those flames out before landing and it just couldn't slow down.

Skip to 1:54:20 for the landing

Edit: "landing"

Fuel header tank pressure was low during landing burn, causing touchdown velocity to be high & RUD, but we got all the data we needed! Congrats SpaceX team hell yeah!!

We give Elon a lot of grief but he deserves credit for reinvigorating the public's excitement about space exploration.

That test was too freaking cool

I'm very upset that they didn't put some kind of awesome paintjob on that thing.

Engine shutdown was intentional.

When it started to do that final maneuver it didn't even look real. It's hard to even comprehend the scale of this thing on video. Then it hit and exploded and I was like "oh.. yeah, that happened".

It looked so damn promising for a sec until it hit the ground

I could tell it was coming in hot. But it sure was impressive when they fired the engines and that thing oriented upright.

It wouldn’t be for SpaceX but come to Huntsville! This entire city lives for this kind of work and it is very satisfying.
