just the opposite, pets need to stay at home, if they must fly, check them, you have no idea if anyone does or doesn't have serious, maybe deadly, allergy to animals, little scruffy doesn't need to go everywhere with you, especially to restaurants and Home Depot, which seems to be all the rage where I live

Yeah, I do. It's entirely possible that "pussy" vet with the service dog watched several of his friends die while fighting for your arse. It's not his fault that your dad didn't tell you he loved you.

Career Army here, served in more war zones than you even knew existed.

And I don't mind that dad didn't love me, your mom loved me enough for the both of them.

How was she feeling after being removed? Still extremely allergic?

best part is, i bet that stunt got her put on the "no fly" list until she brings in medical certification saying she is safe to fly with animals lol.

The last time I was in a restaurant with a "service" dog, the hound sauntered over and took a sniff of my food.

If I hadn't hollered "git," it would've wolfed down my burger.

Its owner looked at me like I was from Mars. frick these people and their animals.
this is probably how I would have gotten my own viral video. I would have instinctively swatted the nose of the dog while telling it to shooo.

The owners start a rukkus and I would have lost it.

Animals die in cargo enough for it to be noticed, and I've never heard of a serious case of anaphylaxis on a plane as a result of an animal. Doesn't mean it hasn't happened, but its extremely rare.

If the choice is the pets potential death or another passengers potential annoyance, and considering your employer isn't really discouraging pets onboard, why would any pet owner check the animal?

I've never understood this, isn't the whole logic behind "no pets" supposed to be about hygiene? What a dog is suddenly clean and food friendly because it's a "service animal?" that's some mighty fine trickery .

Home Depot

Now why would anyone care a dog is in Home fricking Depot?

ETA:

Full disclosure, I bring my dog to Home Depot almost every time I go. Big aisles, concrete floors, he loves the smell of that place (wood), etc.

He walks on my hip the entire time. I don't see him all week while I'm at work so I try to hang out with him as much as possible on weekends. Never even had a mean look at Home Depot and the employees often have treats for him in their pockets.

And I wouldn't bring him on a plane.

I do, and I love dogs, they just don't need to go everywhere, for what I stated above, and, I had to swerve and almost turn over my cart to avoid about a six pound steamer at HD last Saturday morning, freshly laid by a Great Dane, whose owner just kept obliviously strolling along, texting his morning away, keep your fricking pets at home

Well that's completely anecdotal. I go to home depot all the damn time and never even seen a dog use the bathroom in there. And I see dogs all the time in it.

I almost don't believe you.

I usually go Home Depot > PetSmart and let the guy pick out something for himself

Lord knows how many times I've almost mowed down some kid running hog wild around the store with my cart, I'm not screaming for folks to leave their kid at home.

If it's SWA, couldn't she have just moved farther away from the animal? You have to act calmly on a plane. She crossed the line.

That being said, there are way too many people with pets on board. It doesn't bother me, but I have seen other people get furious over it.

Its a one time story. I go to home depot constantly (fixing up my house) and I have never seen a dog use the bathroom in there. And I see dogs alllll the time in there.

You have seen this happen once (allegedly) and because of that you hate dogs in Home Depot.

ETA:

Also, its clearly a decision made by the higher ups to allow and even encourage dogs in Home Depot. You should probably just shop somewhere else.

I agree. Dogs and cats should not be on the plane.

If this woman is deathly allergic to dogs than she should never be allowed in a plane.

Anyone that allergic is gonna likely be highly sensitive to any dog dander left behind even if the dog isn’t on that flight.

You think they thoroughly vacuum anything dog dander could be on in between each flight? Doubtful.

Friend of mine is highly allergic to cats. She can’t even hug someone that owns a cat cause it will stir up her allergies.
